A lot of good work, and I'll make more comments either later today or 
tonight.  But one thing I have to comment on is the back pack.  If the pack 
in question is just for a day trip, or short half day recon operation, then 
I'd be inclined to agree.  If it is to be the only pack the team member 
has, then I'd have to seriously disagree.  I would suggest a dedicated 
internal frame back pack instead.  Check out http://www.arcteryx.com , 
http://www.gregorypacks.com , and for belts, http://www.thewilderness.com .
