earlier this year I picked up a copy of "Aliens, Colonial Marines Technical
Manual" by Lee Brimmicombe-Wood    HarperPrism. It has a lot of detail and
opions based on the book and the Movie.
He claims The Following.
M41A 3.2 kg    100 rd Mag 1.5kg  sling .2kg  Rifle Length 84cm/69.5cm
Barrel Length 24.7cm  MV 840 m/s  Maxium range 2100m  effective range 500 m
900 RPM    10x24mm caseless round 210 grains

It's agreat book if you can find it. The cutaway on the Dropship is worth
the bucks. I think it covers almost everything, if you have a Question just ask.

I don't have Data on the Calico 50 and 100 rd mags but the colt 40rd mag in
5.56mm  is .74kg in 9mm a 40 rd mag for the Beretta M12 is .73kg.
